Time for more surgery

Post by Steverino » Wed Jun 24, 2020 10:59 pm

Greetings All, I will be having my third bladder surgery Friday the 26th and I would appreciate your prayers if you are so led. The surgery will be done through an incision this time rather than transurethrally as before, so recovery may take a little longer. Two to three weeks is the estimate. This procedure will be more aggressive than the others so I have a better chance of good, and I hope permanent, results. With all the covid stuff going on, I was required to get a screening done, which was negative, and self-quarantine this week prior to the surgery. So potentially I will be out of work for a month. Talk about being behind. I'll have to wear a catheter the first week so I'll pretty much be stuck in the house until I get rid of that. If you would pray that the surgery goes as planned and that the recovery goes as quickly as possible, I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks and God bless you all.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6,7 ESV

Praying for you, brother.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.
