Prayers for my father

Post by Vernon » Thu Oct 15, 2020 5:00 pm

I am asking alot here.. As I write this I am sitting in Iowa where my dad lives. He was moved into hospice care wednesday night. He has been in the hospital for a few weeks. My sister and I flew from Oregon on Tuesday. Were finally allowed into the hospital yesterday to see him. He has been going down hill fast . He is now at s hospice house. Comfortable but unresponsive at this point . I am expecting his passing with in the next day or so.
My prayer request right now is peace for both him and us as family. Also for all unresolved issues to be dealt with easily.
He has a significant other that is really making things hard at the moment.
I appreciate all of you and all your prayers..
Vernon.

Right now, sir.

I'm so sorry.

Praying.

It is such a blessing (for both of you) that you are able to be with him now.

On it, Vern. And for the significant other to become less significantly a factor.

I greatly appreciate all the prayers. Dad is unresponsive but comfortable at this time.. It is all in his and God's timing. Not in ours as hard as that is to accept..
