What to do if you get Armor All on your meerschaum pipe

Post by DepartedLight » Thu Feb 17, 2011 3:49 pm

I accidently got Armor All and embedded lint on a smooth SMS meer poker.

To fix:

Take a clean soft white cloth and slightly wet a finger tip area with hot water.

Dip the warm slightly moist finger area in a very small amount of Murphy's Oil Soap.

Gently wipe away the offending Armor All stain and dry.

Re-wax as needed / desired.

No fuss, no muss.

I'd trade this meer poker for a briar one if our fancies so met.
