An OFG's rawhide mallet

Post about everything from carrying a handkerchief to manly skills (sharpening a pocket knife, etc.) to product reviews of items that may have slipped under our radar (e.g. - Grandpa's Pine Tar soap). No threads on anything "new" unless it harkens to old-fashioned sensibilities and ideals.

An OFG's rawhide mallet

Post by Hovannes » Sat Sep 20, 2014 8:29 pm

I went to the local Tandy Leather Factory today for a few supplies. What I accidentally discovered was they now carried rawhide mallets from the PRC!
FWIW I've used an OFG's rawhide mallet for leatherworking & gunsmithing made by Garland in the good ol' USA for the past twenty-something years.

Right, although it is sometimes easy to confuse with People's Republic of California.
