An OFG Spring Water

Post about everything from carrying a handkerchief to manly skills (sharpening a pocket knife, etc.) to product reviews of items that may have slipped under our radar (e.g. - Grandpa's Pine Tar soap). No threads on anything "new" unless it harkens to old-fashioned sensibilities and ideals.

An OFG Spring Water

Post by Jocose » Fri Apr 28, 2017 11:58 pm

Discerning palates , such as mine for example , demand only the very best quality tobaccos, foods, spirits and of course bottled spring waters.

If you haven't had Acqua Panna spring water from a glass bottle before, you are really missing out.

Acqua Panna is so perfectly balanced and smooth, clean tasting and refreshing. I challenge you to taste it for yourself along with your next bowl of tobacco. You will thank me profusely for my expert recommendation.

Get some!

It might be tasty, but I do not think that part of being an OFG includes drinking bottled water.

It might allow for refilling plastic water bottles from a spring, tap or hose.

When I saw the title, I was reminded of locations where a metal dipper would be left hanging on a nail in a tree near a spring.

Judge, there is a place on the road between Roanoke and Lynchburg where you can get spring water from the roadside. There is a roadcut in a hillside that has a pipe sticking out over a drain. I would see people refilling jugs there all the time.

Sounds OFG to me. I know of a similar location in Elijay, Ga.

I like Perrier, but it's too expensive. Just plain seltzer for me.

Being a gentleman is not an issue of class. Why not try the Acqua Panna?

The gin is to make the water safe to drink of course. That's how real OFGs do it.
