Yeah, telling the sponsors that they should be burning in Hell alongside Lennon is just what Jesus would do!

Annie Laurie Gaylor lives in Madison. She gets a lot of press here.... secular Madison is very proud of her.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation exists for only one purpose: To provoke and insult Christians. It is an incredible waste of time, money, and enthusiasm.

Not to worry, they'll get their religion free utopia with Lennon. It's called Hell.

We'd probably have to take some seeds with us. That tree stump won't last long with a few pumpkin vines around it.

I don't get it.... What is the philosophy underlying this article?

Are worship services supposed to for introductory evangelism?

Worship should be for the worshippers.

But... it is okay to take reasonable measures for the comfort of worshippers. Many of them are already old, bald, and fat.... so we shouldn't need to take extra measures in case a new old, fat, bald guys comes to visit.

I thought it would happen sooner than 2050.

News like this depressing.

I know what you mean, but ultimately maybe its not depressing. God can use this too, to awaken people, to the beauty and meaning of Christ. It could lead to a real Christian revival in an apostate part of the world.

We know that Christ's Church will ultimately triumph.

But... we also know that Christianity can become extinct in formerly Christian areas. Turkey, Egypt and Northern Africa used to be entirely Christian.

There is a very real fear that European Christendom will forget itself. Secularization and contraception have dealt mortal blows to European culture.

We shall see if Christianity can rise again there. It has happened before.... as Chesterton noted, "We have a God who knows the way out of the grave."

Meanwhile.... we are looking at a world in which vibrant Protestant Christianity will subside in North America, and vibrant Catholicism in the Southern Hemisphere.
