If you're having trouble deciding which denomination matches your theology, here's your answer....

Christian Denomination Selector

You're welcome.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

Christian Denomination Selector

Grew up Southern Baptist, went to a Reformed Baptist Church in College, so this is not wholly inaccurate... Now I go to a nondenom church that kind of borrows a lot from several denoms...

Are the Mennonites and the Baptists really this close on theology?

Yes, where they agree on theology they disagree on interpretation of scripture. Mennonites like Calvinists are called by a theologians name, Menno Simmons. They were originally called Anabaptists.

Well put, John. Deep down inside, we’re all dogmatic, legalistic bastiges who aren’t above throwing a survey to show our sectarian allegiances. You know, “engineers.”

I agreed with, and marked as high priority, every one I thought would get me to Roman Catholicism, and I somehow wound up matching 100% with 24 different denominations. Assemblies of God was my main match.

Something ain’t right.

So, I put “not important” for everything, and it gave me it gave me 100 percent Assembly of God, Church of Christ, Eastern Orthodox and Anglican? That’s funny, but this thing is rigged.

For me, I want to explore "Liberal Quakerism".
