The Pope can re-translate the Bible now?

For those deep thinkers out there.

Simplest solution: Pray the Lord's Prayer in Latin.

The specific line is: Et ne nos inducas in tentationem

It's not hard to learn. We pray (chant) the Pater Noster together in our parish, every Mass.
Do you prefer the supersubstantialum of the Latin Vulgate or the quotidianum of the 1962 Roman Missal?

Translations have always differed, folks.

Oh wow! I didn't know about that!

Supersubstantialum is a heckuva lot better than quotidianum!

Check out supersubstantial bread. It ain’t heavy, bro...but its implications sure are.
I am also of the opinion that the Jesuits should be suppressed.

Well dog on it, the Latins are at it again! Always changing a couple of words without getting a blessing from the Orthodox first.

I suppose the RCC could paste an asterisk next to the line and add a footnote explaining that God does not lead people into temptation. My old church did that with the word 'catholic' in the Nicene Creed, indicating the little 'c' catholic means the universal church.
