Absolutely Useless Facts About Yourself, No One Cares About

The part of the church where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong in the youth room will be moved here.

I have three unrelated high school graduations to attend this year. All three are in the same ceremony.

Kidney failure all over again. Been in the hospital for two days so far, looks like I have a couple more to go.

I just tried to describe something as a bad deal in another post. I wrote that it was a "sh!tty deal" but the CPS AI Overlord changed it to say it was a wonderful, awesome, insipiring deal. That totally didn't fit the case so I had to do a quick edit to say it was a rotten deal.

We have a iRobot Roomba. The dogs and cat don’t like it when it bumps into them.

Hello FredS
We have a knock-off roomba. I consider it a good day when the damn thing does it's thing and makes it back to the charging station without getting stuck someplace.

Yes. Ours does fine quite often.

I played well at the softball game tonight. I played left field and caught to pop flies-- the last was the last out. I had a solid contact that was a pop-out; I had a decent hit that got me on first and I swung on a 3-2 pitch that struck me out. The outing at bat didn't look great but I got some runs in on the one at bat. I really looked pretty decent firing the ball in from left field on a few occasions. My wife was proud of me and for that I'll be satisfied (she looked pretty awesome as well and got on base more than I-- she was playing 2nd base).
.3333 batting average is solid. If you managed to extend that for a career, you'd be at number 26 in the MLB Career Batting Average Leaders
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

GA is talking about coed slow pitch softball, I think. Not intending to throw cold water on it or anything. It's a good thing.
Never played any coed ball, myself, softball or otherwise. Maybe I should have.

Beer league or church league?

Or Catholic church league, which combines the best of both worlds?
