Feeling Especially Generous Today

Post by Goose55 » Wed Sep 11, 2019 12:14 pm

This week I ordered 3 boxes each of Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. bulk Scotch Flake & Brown Flake (unscented) Over 6 - 1/2 pounds. :chili: That should last me another year. I was completely out.

If any of you have not tried either of those, let me know and I'll send you a couple of the enormous, thick, 6 inch long flakes. Before I jar it up, mailing is easy. I can send in a business sized envelope so it only costs 50 cents postage.

Just PM me with your address

Those are both great blends - y'all should try them, and then stock up.

I'm stocked on BF, but now I should hunt down some more Scotch Flake! Thanks for the heads-up.
I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.

When I got home from our short trip last night I was excited to find an envelope from Goose containing to beautiful flakes of tobacco. Now never having purchased GH in bulk I was not familiar with these flakes and how long and nice they truly are. I know it is silly to be fascinated by a flake that I am just going to rub out but there I was.

The only other GH tobacco I have tried was BB#2 that I got in the box pass from Adam and all though I enjoy it I don't know if it is a reorder for me. I was told by Adam if I did like it then Brown Unscented would be a good one too. For me first pipe rule applies as I usually like to have four or more pipes of something prior to passing judgment, however, no smoking the first bowl of unscented I understand why this one sells out so fast. It appears to take a lot of the good qualities of BB#2 and then smooth them out, getting rid of any harsh or rough edges. As I smoke the bowl down I get a hint of the Lakeland escence for just a wee second and then it either disappears or it is so light I can't pick it up again. For me this is a good thing as I do not appreciate it that much.

It was quite good all the way to the bottom of the bowl.

Thanks Goose, this is much appreciated.

Having smoked through the sample of Unscented I have now had two bowls of the Scotch Flake. I find this much more to my liking and I can't put my finger on why just yet. More bowls to smoke first.

Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Scotch Flake is the goo. Taste is scrumptious. Like good food. And the room note alluring & intoxicating. No wonder some say its an aphrodisiac. And its a 100% Virginia blend.
