Memory Eternal for our Br. Nikolai

Post by Thunktank » Sat Apr 26, 2014 9:22 am

I regret to inform you that Br. Nikolai (aka Monarchist) has passed away a few weeks ago. The day before he passed he was able to give his confession and partake of the Holy Mysteries.

It's sad to hear of the passing of our brother, but thanks for sharing with us that he was able to receive the Mysteries.

Eternal rest grant to him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

This is tough. Monarchist has been here for sometime, and is a cherished member of our little community. Prayers go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, my friend, in the arms of the One who grants such everlasting peace.

Lord, welcome our brother into the light of your face.

I wonder what amazing experience Mon is having now! Who among us can't smile a bit when thinking of a dear brother face to face with Christ.

Sorry to hear that. Death is never a pleasant thing to deal with no matter the circumstances.

Yes. I am grateful for having gotten to know him on this forum, especially towards the end of last year. Some great exchanges about rats, McClelland, etc. Someone I would love to have met in person, and shared a bowl with.
