It is my first G.L. Pease and it was not bad. Next on the list I think is Barbary Coast but it will have to wait a month or two for me to get it. Though Sextant and Triple Play are up there too. So many blends, so little money. LOLJohnnyMcPiperson wrote: ↑Fri Jul 13, 2018 8:00 pmIndeed I’ve got some with a few years on it.rgcurrey wrote:I had a couple of bowls and have jarred it up. The tin was only 3 months old when I popped it and I think it might be better with at least 3 more months in a jar (but probably 6 more). I have realized I like PS LNF a lot more after 6 months in a jar over fresh, so, I am hoping the same here.JohnnyMcPiperson wrote: ↑Thu Jul 12, 2018 7:01 amMmmm Navigator, so good!rgcurrey wrote:

That is one that is in my wish list, how do you like it? What would be something in a similar vein?
I don't smoke many blends with Latakia but loved this one. Had a cedar and slightly sweet note to it. It was great. Not sure what to compare it to.
The tin lists virginias, burley, dark fired Kenyan leaf, and Perique. This is spun into small coins. It does not taste like a typical VaPer to me. Also it seems to have a stronger nic hit than I am used to. I will take this out to the garage later.
I was thinking of Giubileo d'Oro!Winton wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 12:19 pmThe tin lists virginias, burley, dark fired Kenyan leaf, and Perique. This is spun into small coins. I am still confused about the description: a delightfully vivacious and flavorful smoke. Dictionary.com says vivacious means: lively, spirited, bubbly, ebullient, buoyant, sparkling, lighthearted, jaunty, merry, happy, jolly, full of fun, cheery, cheerful, perky, sunny, breezy, enthusiastic, irrepressible, vibrant, vital, zestful, energetic, effervescent, dynamic. Sorry, I can't taste many of these features.
I try to avoid latakia. I hope you can detect perky, bubbly, and irrepressible in Giubileo d'Oro.ryland wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 1:45 pmI was thinking of Giubileo d'Oro!Winton wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 12:19 pmThe tin lists virginias, burley, dark fired Kenyan leaf, and Perique.
