I've been resisting the black sliced for a while, I kept putting it in my cart and then deleting. Such good stuff.

Let us know how you like it.

I bought an ounce to try on IPSD this year. Best blend for a MacArthur cob. Hopefully getting a meerschaum bowl for my Falcon that I can also use it in.

Total newbie here! My last tobacco purchase was also my first: Captain Black. I know it's not the best, but I was looking for something to try and get a little experience with.

My friend and I are going to the local cigar and pipe shop this weekend for some good stuff.

Which Captain Black? There’s a couple I really enjoy. CB may not be the best, but it won’t be the worst you ever try, either.

Unsolicited advice: Smoke what makes you happy.

Just the original White pouch. I like it, but still look forward to trying something of a higher quality.

Cult Blood Red Moon and some Wilke Cherry Cavendish. Have never tried either one. Just want the wife to say "O that's new, I like it"

I seem to enjoy most every thing, I love it when she steps outside and says something nice. Her favorite is Wilke Vermont Maple.

I bought a pipe from someone on another pipe forum. Due to a lack of cheap booze to clean the pipe, he offered to add some tobacco. I received a tin of C&D's Opening Night, and some other samples.

I traded a cigar for two tins of First Days of Spring, and one each of Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

I love pipe enthusiasts. I had to talk him into letting me buy him a cigar!

Went to the local shop for a pound of their coffee. Threw in a tin of Hal O' The Wynd just because it was there, and I was of a mind that it would be a sin to be aware of it being in stock and not buy some.
I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.
