Especially when it goes down your street in front of your house. (In our case the "parade" consisted of about 25 or 30 golf carts, all decorated up for Christmas.).

Dense fog at night. Everyone is home safe and in bed. Even though we're in the suburbs it feels like we're at the very edge of the world, and so quiet.
