Not the kind of book I would have picked out for myself. Maybe 10 years ago, but not now. Reading this only on my father's emphatic recommendation - it's his paperback that was pressed onto me. Picture in your mind the media's stereotypical portrayal of who they think that the average Trump voter is, and I think that is the target audience for this book. It's a false flag waving, conspiracy theorist, SHTF prepper's me-and-my-gun-and-my-bug-out-bag-against-the-world wet dream.

This one goes on the guilty pleasures and cheap thrills shelf. Oddly enough, so far I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would, and I didn't really think I was going to enjoy this. It's kinda like, as much as you might enjoy a nice gourmet meal in a fancy restaurant, sometimes there is pleasure to be had in ordering a baconator at the Wendy's drive-thru.

Read it years ago and enjoyed it. Never got around to reading the rest of the series though.

Think I might go get a Baconator now.

I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.

My Damage The Story Of A Punk Rock Survivor

By Keith Morris.

I already knew a lot of this story just from growing up during tjat time and being a part of that scene but you know what? I gladly spent the $8 for a new copy of the book to be able to go visit those days again.
