Kids here are very happy.
We haven’t been been plowed out yet, and all the neighbors’ kids are sledding down the road which is fairly steep above our house. Their runout is into our front yard and we can hear them laughing.
Later, if our plow guy doesn’t show up, I’ll blow the lower portion of the road to our house.
We’re a little concerned about friends who are driving in from Colorado Springs today. They have to go over Wolf Creek Pass which is supposed to bear the brunt of the storm. The highway department does a good job of keeping the highway plowed, but the avalanche information center has issued an avalanche warning.
We just hope they get over safely and before the road closes, if it does. They just moved to Colorado from Indiana so I’m sure this trip will be quite an adventure for them.
