Snowing to beat the band.
So wish I was there . . . 70 and partly cloudy is nice, but not Christmas/winter.
Kids here are very happy.

We haven’t been been plowed out yet, and all the neighbors’ kids are sledding down the road which is fairly steep above our house. Their runout is into our front yard and we can hear them laughing.

Later, if our plow guy doesn’t show up, I’ll blow the lower portion of the road to our house.

We’re a little concerned about friends who are driving in from Colorado Springs today. They have to go over Wolf Creek Pass which is supposed to bear the brunt of the storm. The highway department does a good job of keeping the highway plowed, but the avalanche information center has issued an avalanche warning.

We just hope they get over safely and before the road closes, if it does. They just moved to Colorado from Indiana so I’m sure this trip will be quite an adventure for them.

It’s a little breezy but the wind has a bite to it. Clear blue skies though.

Down here near an arroyo where I live it is presently 34f at 7am. Forecast is for sunny & calm today with a high of only about 50f. Chilly, especially with the dampness from all the recent rains. Humidity at present is 74% .

We were told that we would have LOTS of rain and then it would change to snow with about 6" accumulation.

Actually got some drizzle during the day.

It never did reach 72 yesterday. Only 64. Over the next 5 days, 3 of them are forecast to be totally cloudy/ overcast. With highs reaching 66 today and even 77 on Monday.
