Potlucks are for heathens and heretics that do not believe in the sovereignty of God. Call them potprovidences.

Zinc or the lack thereof has been attributed to the abundance of flat-tappet camshaft failures.

Potlucks are magically gatherings in the South in which I leave with an overly full belly and a happy face.

Marriage is a covenant made between a man and woman and God. It is only done in the eyes of the government because said government saw a way to make money and gain power off of it. Our government is too big and its entanglement in marriage is a prime example of it.

A ver dear, older friend (now deceased) who remained a bachelor well into his 50s was fond of saying, “Marriage is a fine and noble institution, but who wants to live in an institution?”

In his 50s he met and married a former nun. He passed away in his 80s very happy to have been so institutionalized.
