I want to say four so I will go with two and most likely end up with zero.

I have the desire, the PAD as it were, but I am fighting it so maybe 2 or 3. But I am likely to get rid of a couple so it might just even out.

I may purchase 2 or 3. But I have two that I'm already sending out for repairs.

I shouldn't buy any, but really, what kind of piper would I be with that kind of thinking.

The minimum will be two: the POY and a Christmas pipe. As long as 7formy1911 behaves himself and doesn't taunt me I might just get away with only those.
I did not account for the possibility of finding my white whale. Let's change the minimum to three.

1, at most.

I too still have pipes waiting to go out for repairs...so I should not be looking at pipes...but last night I was on the auction site and yup you guessed it, I started looking at pipes. I didn't bid or buy but...

I've made it all year without buying a pipe.

Really liked the look of the 4th Generation pipes—a bit out of the price range, but I found one for 50% off and bought it—under $100 including shipping; arrived today. It’s a bit heavy, but I generally hold instead of clench so I’m not too concerned about it. Impressed by the initial quality—pouch is a decent leather too. Looking forward to trying it out.

I've got some cash burning a hole in my pocket, and this little Rattray's Beltane's Fire rhodesian is looking mighty fine right now. Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Still debating...

I tend to find the doctrinal books often more helpful in devotion than the devotional books.... I believe that many who find that "nothing happens" when they sit down, or kneel down, to a book of devotion, would find that the heart sings unbidden while they are working their way through a rough bit of theology with a pipe in their teeth and a pencil in their hand.

Could be 1 +/- 1
Not even end of January and I'm on the chart with 1.

That puts me in the realm of 2 +/- 1 with a change in the estimate.

I've put it in my cart, and deleted it twice now. This exceeds the most I've ever spent on a pipe ($130). Maybe it seems kinda gimmicky, but I like the 3 stems that it ships with - kinda a neat way to dress it up differently. I've found that my two favorite shapes are a lovat and a rhodesian, so this tickles that itch.

Dang... I'm so indecisive.

Definitely Ulmer-style. If genuine Ulmer, very valuable pipe.
