Thanks. It was, if not better, at least different. The new normal is going to take some getting used to.ReverendThom wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 4:29 pmPraying again. Hope today was a better day

Hey, don't forget northwest florida too. It is a lot like Alabama except for the beaches. For beaches like those in Alabama you have to go down to Daytona.hugodrax wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 6:08 pmThanks. It was, if not better, at least different. Prayer said.
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6,7 ESV

Re: For Hugo
Excuse me, but I need to tell somebody. My father and mother have been attending the living wake here with me, and bought me a ton of really nice magazines I'd never heard of. Sporting Classics, Covey something or other, and Shooting Sportsman.
You know the kind, I'm sure...good writing but a bit maudlin. The father that silently helped his son limit out at trout, the savor every cigar you have with your father article, and just dog articles fit to break your heart.
I shouldn't have read the one about the dumb kid with the black lab. I should have known better. That dogs been dead 35 years and I'm balling.

Re: For Hugo
Relax enjoy the mags...have them get you some Jim Shockey and a Pat Mcmanus book or two...writings not as good, and the quality of the paper is less, but they are not maudlin.

Some people don't take well to ports. They took my wife's chemo port out 'cause she didn't take to it. 'Course, she don't take to most things.
